1. Introduction

Welcome to Summit Maths Academy ("SMA", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website (summitmathsacademy.ie) and services. Summit Maths Academy is an Irish secondary school maths tutoring platform providing live lessons, recorded video libraries, notes, discussion boards, mock paper grading, and a referral system.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

2. Account Registration & Eligibility

To use our platform, you must create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are exactly 16 years of age or older, or have explicit parental or guardian consent to use this platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

We offer three subscription tiers: Library, Academy, and Platinum. Subscriptions can be billed on a monthly or academic year basis.

• Free Trial: All plans include a 7-day free trial. There is no charge until your trial ends.
• Academic Year Plans: Available for purchase until October 1st of each academic year.
• Payments: All payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
• No Hidden Fees: Pricing is transparent and clearly displayed during onboarding and on the pricing page.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Settings. Cancellation will prevent any future charges, and you will retain access to the platform until the end of your current billing period. Partial refund requests are made available specifically for academic year plans in June of the academic year.

5. Use of Platform & Content

The platform features live lessons, video libraries, mock grading, and a discussion board. Depending on your subscription tier, certain features may be read-only or entirely restricted.

• Videos & Materials: All content provided by Summit Maths Academy is for your personal, educational use only and may not be redistributed.
• Mock Grading: Available during specified submission windows (e.g., Halloween, Christmas, Easter).
• Discussion Board: You agree to maintain a respectful and positive environment. Spam, abuse, or inappropriate content will result in post removal and potential account suspension.

6. Modifications to Terms & Services

We reserve the right to modify these Terms or our services at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, where appropriate, via platform notification or email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
